Valentine’s Day Dinning Ideas

Valentine’s Day can become a stressful time for some of us. Restaurants are booked way in advance and if you are not in time to reserve your table, well good luck. Also a lot of them will be offering a set menu with steep prices. As an alternative I highly recommend you doing the cooking and owning the night. It makes it all the more special when you cook and spoil your date all by yourself. You can even get take out and present it in a romantic setting with soft music, flowers, candles, and some wine.

But if you want to really impress your date and up to experiencing the V-Day ambiance out and about, here are some of the romantic restaurants I highly recommend.

If you are looking for a romantic setting with flowers all around and smell of roses in the air you must try the most famous restaurant in Hollywood and Bravo TV; ” SUR Restaurant” . The food is exquisite and the venue itself screams romance. If you do go there definitely try the “Fried Goat Cheese Balls” your mouth will drool and beg for  more, while the smell of roses and the hue of colors make you feel like you are being hugged and loved over and over.

Here is a place for fine dining and a night packed full of fun; “Bagatelle”. This place is tones of fun, packed with young crowd ready to have a good time and make new friends. Prepare to meet people from all around the world, and definitely try the champagne bowl. Please DO NOT drink and drive, you do not want to ruin the night you worked so hard planning.

From LA to Oc, here is a list of other restaurants that I think you will enjoy dining at:

  1. The Bazaar by José Andrés Beverly Hills

  2. PERCH
  3. The Strand House
  4. Takami Sushi
  5. Nobu Malibu
  6. The Ivy
  7. The Little Door
  8. Spago
  9. Pump
  10. Villa Blanca
  11. “Splashes” at Surf & Sand Resort for my OC friends
  12. The Winery Restaurant & Wine Bar  also in OC
