The Essential Skincare Routine for Every Age

Whatever your skin type, you can create a regimen with quality items at modest prices that actually works for your skin.

Just like me, you are probably overwhelmed by the infinite array of lotions and potions filled with promises to get ride of dark spots, wrinkles, and many more benefits that I can’t even begin to understand “How can it do that, but willing to try it”. Before I continue, I want to let you know that this blog is solely based on my experience and is not an endorsement.

I met up with a leading doctor who is well known in the community and amongst the stars of Hollywood, to go over the products he has created to help all skin types for any age. Dr. Farhad Sigari of Del Rey MD.

Let me tell you a little about my skin. I have olive skin and have collected lots of dark spots that are called sun spots due to not wearing sunblock over the years…(BIG MISTAKE) I have desperately been searching for painless regiments, peels, and lasers to help and lessen the spots.

I first experienced the products during my facial and Microdermabrasion session with the one and only esthetician that I trust my face with. Mrs. Kathy Del Rey. After the first session I loved how my skin felt, and decided to try the products she used on my face. It has been a few months now, and I am extremely happy with the results.

So here are the items I have been using and a little about what they actually do to the skin.

ReyCleanse – $36.00

Creamy cleanser that helps moisturize dry skin with Lactic Acid. Great for Acne Scars, Blackheads/Whiteheads, Dry Skin, Sun-damaged skin, Blotchy Pigmentation, Fine Wrinkles, Loss of Elasticity, Large Pores, in-grown hair, Age spots, Eczema, and Rosacea. I use this in the morning, and at night before bed time.

ReyMoist – $70.00

All-purpose anti-aging moisturizer uses Vitamin B3 to improve skin texture and tone as well as increase your skin’s natural ability to retain moisture. Great for normal to dry skin. I use ReyMoist after washing my face with ReyCleanse. I used this after I got back from skiing, and my skin was extremely dry, this helped bring moisture back into my skin and got rid of the dry spots around my chin.

ReyScreen – $60.00

Anti-Oxidant Sunscreen SPF 30 with a combination of micronized Titanium and Zinc Oxides, fortified with powerful anti-oxidant Melanin, Vitamin C, E and Ferulic acid ester. This is a great sunscreen that I actually use as a primer! Yes it works perfectly and I do not breakout. One main reason I didn’t wear sunblock is that every time I tried wearing one I broke out heavily and painfully. This has worked perfectly for my skin.

ReyDerm – $100.00

Pain-free 5% TCA (Trichloroacetic)- A peeling agent that’s used in many aggressive peels, but here in a lower dose. Safe and easy to use at home. 5% Salicylic Acid- helps to exfoliate, 5% Azelaic Acid- Stops growth of skin bacteria and helps reduce inflammation and pigmentation. It’s safe, mini chemical peel that you can do right at home. I have used other brands (Fancy and much more pricey) pads that work but not as good. This is a great price for what you get out of it. Imagine giving yourself a mini facial. I use these pads once a week right after I wash and pad dry my face, followed by using the ReyMoist.
